This page is about the male utaite colon (ころん), not to be confused with the female utaite Colon (コロン).

colon (ころん) is an utaite who started singing in late 2014.

He has a laid-back, soft and shota voice and occasionally slightly hoarse or nasal, yet it can become richer with vibratos and grunt sounds such as in his cover of "Idola no Circus -DIVELA Remix-" Nv, especially in high note as in "Asu no Yozora Shoukaihan" Nv. Occasionally, there are moments in his songs that he doesn't take seriously, such as in his cover of Dance Robot Dance. Many fans also describes his voice as ikebo.

His most popular solo cover is "Cute na Kanojou" with over 5.6 million views on YouTube. His most popular duo cover is Dear Doppelganger with over 3.8 million views and sung with Root.

From what can be observed from his game play videos and mini skits with Strawberry Prince, colon has a very exuberant and playful nature. His way of act can be compared to that of a typical YouTube gamer, as his reactions are typically filled with screaming/exaggerated sounds.

As of recent, he is often portrayed with goat horns or as pictures of goats, the latter typically being used by the members of Strawberry Prince. His mascot is a goat named yagiron (やぎろん), which is a combination of yagi, meaning goat in Japanese, and Colon, his name.

In Strawberry Prince, Colon is often grouped with Riinu and Root in songs. They are known as the younger trio and named as the Traffic Light Group (possibly because of their image colours Red, Yellow, and Blue).

Trivia[]

  • On Colon's YouTube Channel, Colon often posts game videos that are usually premiered everyday around 6:30pm (JST). Other than gaming videos, although rarely, Colon also uploads singing covers (I tried to sing) as well as his new original songs
  • In Strawberry Prince livestream (July 9, 2018) he stated that he wanted to become a primary school teacher.
    • Colon attended university to get his teaching license but due to certain reasons, he became a member of StPri instead
  • In a photo posted on his birthday, a balloon spells out "Happy 22nd", indicating colon is 22 years old as of 2018.
  • He owns a cat named Yamato and a dog named Koron, with the same Japanese spelling as his own name.
  • Colon also owns a dog called Tapi (he usually calls Tapi-chan) whom he often uploads clips of on YouTube
    • Tapi is born 29th September, 2 weeks after Root's dog, Miru-kun as seen on Instagram
  • His profile on the Strawberry Prince website states that he likes playing Rock, Paper, Scissors.[2]
  • Colon's blood type is B[3]
  • Colon states that he is 163.2 cm and says that he doesn't like being short but fans say that he is cute when he is short.[4]

  • Colon moved to Tokyo to attend university and currently lives alone.
    • There are rumours that Colon may have been a university drop out due to the fact that there were fans in his university who were listening to him in the cafeteria may have realised who he was [6]

  • Out of everyone in Strawberry Prince, Colon has been an utaite the longest as he started in 2014 whilst Root, Rinu, and Nanamori started in 2015 and Satomi and Jel started in 2016
  • Despite having the 4th most subscribers on YouTube, Colon also has the most followers on Nico Nico Douga out of Strawberry Prince
  • Colon's parents (especially his mother) appears to be very supportive of Colon's utaite activities because in his sub accounts on Twitter, he would occasionally post screenshots of his mum texting him with Colon LINE stickers or showing photos of his merchandise
    • Colon's mum is also known as "Koro-mama"
  • Colon is seen to be fairly good at table tennis when the other STPR members were switching around to see if they can win a point against him in the same turn[8]
  • Colon is rumoured to be the person behind a Virtual YouTuber called Shiroma Kuma because they have very similar voices
    • Apparently, in a livestream, Shiroma Kuma tried to explain why the username of the computer is "Colon"
