DUBattle Royale was a YouTube chorus battle event held in 2011 amongst dubbers in the Hello!Project karaoke community based off the YTC Chorus Battle.
It opened January 29, 2011, the winner's prize a secret. They claimed their goal was not to encourage competition or claim who was best, but to encourage the dubbing community coming together. The final winner, announced October 09, 2011, was Gemini, a group comprised of Chiisana, Jay, Eva, Mimi, Ryan and Jeffrey.
The event was coordinated and judged by leaders of Hana Project, Yo Project, Iro Kokoro Project, Totally Up! Project, Hello Project All Stars, and projecthello.com.[1] The judges were Kappa, Aoi, Takara, Purply, Renna, Liana, Ronnie, Mandy and Koolmon. Each team's score was composed of 70% judge scoring and 30% community voting.[2]
On their forum with much of the original information, all of the topics seem to have been deleted.
